Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 14 April 2026
Our commitment
SnoutSwipe is committed to making our website and digital services accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards where reasonably achievable, and to provide an inclusive experience for users seeking to adopt pets and for shelter partners.
What we are doing
We work toward accessibility by:
- Using semantic HTML and appropriate heading structure where possible
- Supporting keyboard navigation and visible focus for interactive elements
- Providing text alternatives for meaningful images and descriptive labels for forms
- Testing with assistive technologies and addressing issues as we identify them
- Considering colour contrast and readable typography in our design
Limitations
SnoutSwipe is under active development. Some parts of the site may not yet meet every WCAG 2.1 AA success criterion. We are committed to ongoing improvements and welcome your feedback.
