By accessing or using SnoutSwipe ("we", "us", or "our") at snoutswipe.com and related services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. Description of Services

SnoutSwipe provides a platform to help connect prospective adopters with shelter animals and verified rescue organisations. We do not facilitate adoptions directly; final arrangements are between you and the relevant shelter or rescue.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account. By using the Services, you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable law or third-party rights
• Use the Services for any fraudulent, abusive, or harmful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, other users, or shelters
• Scrape, harvest, or automate access to the Services without permission
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation

6. Intellectual Property

The Services, including content, logos, and software, are owned by SnoutSwipe or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes in line with these Terms.

7. Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that matches will result in a successful adoption or that shelters will respond within a timeframe. Information about animals is provided by shelters and may change.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SnoutSwipe shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim (or, if none, one hundred pounds sterling).

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SnoutSwipe and its affiliates from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Services or your violation of these Terms.

10. Changes

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise. Courts in England and Wales shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction, subject to your statutory rights.
